“D’avin has been able to be there for Dutch, not in the way Johnny is there for Dutch, but there’s this funny thing called love that makes us go off in on different courses. D’avin is definitely there for Dutch in the finale with her larger mission. She experiences something pretty intense and D’avin happens to be the first person to be there for her. Johnny is still there with us too, though, it’s not like he’s off solo.”

Deadline reports the film — which culls together a crew who are legendary in the genre including Vincent Guastini (Requiem for a Dream), Victor Miller (Friday the 13th) and composer Harry Manfredini — also stars Anna Margaret (Scream Queens), Maureen McCormick (The Brady Bunch) and Gabriel Stone (Death House).
Macfarlane will play the lead as reformed serial killer Peter “The Doll Maker” Harris, Jennifer Titus will play Ashley Grant, with Madsen as Detective Doyle Deckert and O’Neal as Dr. Evelyn Bauer.

Killjoys fans hold onto your hats and strap in because things are about to get even more crazy as we head towards the Season 2 finale this Friday at 9 p.m. ET on Space and Syfy. After a shocking penultimate episode last week that saw the unexpected and tragic loss of Pawter (Sarah Power), the Killjoys will turn their attention back to Khlyen (Rob Stewart) and figuring out the mystery behind Dutch’s (Hannah John-Kamen) double Aneela. Johnny (Aaron Ashmore) will once again join Dutch and his brother D’avin (Luke Macfarlane) as they attempt to stop the Level Six’s plans for the Quad.
In order to help prepare ourselves for what’s sure to be an explosive season finale, The TV Junkies chatted exclusively with Macfarlane about what we can expect from the episode. He also spoke to the changing dynamics we’ve seen between Dutch and D’avin this year and some of his favorite moments from a season where he got to show off his comedic talents on more than one occasion.

SPOILERS AHEAD!
This episode, Johnny Be Good, was overshadowed for me by the death at the end (stop reading now if you haven’t seen the show), so my recap may be a bit different this week.

The episode opens with a flash-forward: Dutch is in nerve cuffs being tortured in Old Town inside the Royale by a mining union official named Regin. A mob yells for blood outside, held back by brawny monks. I found this segment confusing, probably because it went on so long before the show returned to events of the night before. At the Royale, Pree was trying to help Dutch, arguing with Regin, at one point even brandishing a weapon, offering Dutch, “You, me, blaze of glory,” before he was sent outside. I was impressed with Pree all over again, for his courage trying to protect his friend.

Fembot Lucy was everything. And that kiss, you guys! ‘Nuff said.
How do Michelle Lovretta and her writing team manage to cram so much sci-fi goodness into one episode? Every week I say, “That was my favorite Killjoys episode.” This week with Killjoys Season 2 Episode 6, it’s absolutely true.

I’ll be honest, I can’t say I’ll miss Pawter’s folks even though they went out heroes.
Both teams spent time with their wretched parents, but we quickly realized the elders were being tough attempting to make their kids stronger. Was the time wasted worth it though? Killjoys Season 2 Episode 5 proved there’s always room for forgiveness.

We’re getting a first look at Season 2 of praised Civil War-drama Mercy Street, set to premiere January 22 at 8 PM on PBS.
Mercy Street follows the doctors, nurses and soldiers, as well as free, enslaved and contraband African Americans and other residents of the war-torn city of Alexandria, VA, as they navigate the new world emerging from the most cataclysmic event in our country’s history.
Season 2 continues to explore life in the chaotic city of Alexandria, the complicated interpersonal dynamics of Dr. Foster, Nurse Mary and the Mansion House staff, the increasingly precarious position of the Green family and the changing world of the burgeoning black population. The second season will take the viewer closer to the war and into the halls of Confederate power, all set against the intensifying war, starting with the Seven Days’ Battle and culminating with Antietam.
The new season also delves deeper into the lives of newly freed African Americans, exploring – among other areas – life in a contraband camp, where formerly enslaved African Americans are forced to confront horrific living conditions and disease, but also get a glimpse of freedom.
New actors and guest stars introduced in Season 2 include Patina Miller, Brian F. O’Byrne, Bryce Pinkham, Lune Renee, Chris Wood, William Mark McCullough and Nyambi Nyambi. They join returning cast members Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Josh Radnor, Gary Cole, Peter Gerety, Hannah James, Brad Koed, Norbert Leo Butz, Tara Summers, McKinley Belcher III, Jack Falahee, AnnaSophia Robb, Donna Murphy, L. Scott Caldwell, Suzanne Bertish, and Luke MacFarlane.

It was Delle Seyah’s turn to resurface this time. Now we know she’s in with Khlyen.
Though both those characters seemed like the villains last season, Killjoys Season 2 Episode 4 continued to blur the lines between the good guys and baddies. Yes, Khlyen has done some terrible things, but I no longer think he is the enemy.
I thought the brother angle was touching, and it helped John and D’av bond a bit more.
