About The Mistletoe Promise

Meet the Cast – Luke Macfarlane : Nick
A graduate of the Juilliard School’s Drama Division, Luke can currently be seen as one of the leads of the SyFy series “Killjoys” which began its second season this June. Luke also stars in the PBS/Scott Free historical civil war medical drama, “Mercy Street.” Luke has recently recurred on the NBC series “The Night Shift.” He appeared in several off- Broadway plays including “The Busy World is Hushed,” “Where Do We Live” and “Juvenilia;” and on Broadway in “The Normal Heart” (Drama Desk awarder for best ensemble). Luke made his feature film debut in Bill Condon’s “Kinsey.” Additional TV credits include “Smash,” “Person Of Interest,” “Supreme Courtships,” FX’s “Over There,” “Supergirl” and Robert Altman’s “Tanner And Tanner.” Luke is best known for his starring role as Scotty on ABC’s “Brothers And Sisters.”
He returned to the theatre in the world premiere of “Reverberations” at Hartford Stage. Additional regional theatre credits include the one person show “Sam Bendrix at The Bon Soir” at the Pittsburgh City Theatre and La Jolla Playhouse and also the Arena stages remount of “The Normal Heart.”

I’m going to go ahead and quote The Cinema Snob review of Ghosts Can’t Do It (1989): Wow! Wow! Wow! Wow! Wibble Wobble Wazzle Woodle What The Fuck?
Oh, this is bad.
The movie opens up by showing us some Christmas decorations before cutting to the front of a private residence. Inside there are six kids sitting at a table when a woman played by Maureen McCormick of Brady Bunch fame walks in with a picture of herself looking down on everyone from the background.

What Would You Do If You Owned Your Own CHRISTMAS LAND?

Tonight on Hallmark Channel, a bit more Christmas cheer as we near December 25: CHRISTMAS LAND, starring Nikki DeLoach (“Jules Cooper”), Luke Macfarlane (“Tucker Martin”), Maureen McCormick (“Glinda Bonaparte”) and Richard Karn (“Mason Richards”), is a Hallmark Original Movie.
On CHRISTMAS LAND, a successful New York businesswoman learns her beloved late Grandmother has left her ‘Christmas Land’, a magical Christmas‐themed village in the countryside. But, does she keep it and restore it, or does she sell it and move on?
“JULES COOPER” (Nikki DeLoach): Bright, pretty and career driven, Jules is a small town girl with a big city life— and a rapidly growing career. Jules finds out her beloved late Grandmother Glinda has left her a property called “Christmas Land,” a magical village and Christmas tree farm in the countryside. Jules is forced to decide on whether or not to sell the property or keep it and bring it back to its former glory.
“TUCKER BARNES” (Luke Macfarlane): Handsome, smart and charming, Tucker is the lawyer overseeing the Christmas Land estate. His devotion to Christmas Land and an undeniable attraction to Jules leads to complications in already complicated decisions that Jules has to make.
“GLINDA STANWICK”: (Maureen McCormick): Glinda is Jules’ larger-than-life Grandmother—a whirlwind, effervescent woman who happens to be the owner of Christmas Land.
“MASON RICHARDS” (Richard Karn): A wealthy and well-regarded real estate tycoon, Mason is determined to own Christmas Land so he can close it and industrialize the area.
CHRISTMAS LAND also features Chonda Pierce as “Gretchen” and Cynthia Gibb as “Elaine Richardson.”
CHRISTMAS LAND is produced for Hallmark Channel by Hybrid, LLC. Barry Barnholtz, Zelma Kiwi and Jeffrey Schenck are executive producers. The movie is written and directed by Sam Irvin.
CHRISTMAS LAND airs on Hallmark Channel tonight, Sunday, December 20, at 8/9c.
